After another long-winded lockdown, Melbourne is finally coming back to life this week. At LNNY, we’ve been planning everything from romantic dinners to pedicure appointments. We’ve finally got our social schedules under control, but what about our wardrobes? Here’s where the LNNY team will be celebrating our newfound freedom this week:
For a romantic dinner:
The reopening of Melbourne’s hospitality scene means we can finally say “hello” to fine dining again. A silk maxi dress is the perfect piece for a degustation. Pair this with leather sandals for an early bird and patent boots for a late booking. We’ve been lucky enough to score a table at Embla - where will you go?
For the long-overdue hairdresser’s appointment:
This was the first thing we booked in and probably what we’re most excited about. This pandemic truly showed us that hairdressers are angels. Lindsay will be heading to Volume Hair in South Melbourne in the signature shirt dress - comfortable and classic, style it with trainers and a tote for errand running.
Catching up with friends over a bottle of wine:
It feels good to trade in our picnic blankets and coffee for bar stools and wine. Swap your activewear for our leopard palazzo pants and matching silk shirt dress, a laid back but stylish co-ord set. We’ll be perched on the Rooftop at QT for local wine and Italian cuisine.
Going back to the office:
This change is bittersweet. No one likes a commute and we’ll really miss our pets but it’s time. We’re using it as an excuse to update our work wardrobes. After all, nothing but loungewear has been added to them for the past 2 years! The Elizabeth Suit is a showstopper and a must-have in a business wardrobe. Pair it with our silk peplum top in leopard to really make a statement.
