Tell us why you chose your career:
I have always been a person that loves aesthetics, not just fashion but rather beautiful rooms, beautiful nature, symmetry and then of course, fashion. I love expressing myself through many modes of creativity, one of which is the way I present myself with apparel. I also love to promote other creative people and I find that looking in to their process of design is interesting. When I’m creating a fashion show, we are making a beautiful, visually stimulating event that incorporates lots of aspects of design (makeup, hair, clothing, the build out of the room).
It's fun. When I’m filming stories about fashion we show people what goes on behind the scenes; the struggles, the focus, the passion. It humanizes fashion.

What do you love most about your job?
I love the amazing travel that I’ve been able to do and I love being creative, but most of all I love the incredible people that I have met and worked with around the world.

What have you learned about yourself in lockdown?
I was overworked and not in a productive way. I was the sort of person that would literally feel guilty if I wasn’t super busy all the time. That’s so American, haha.
I realized it doesn’t leave room for that psychic breath, or rather the stillness that allows for interesting things to develop in your life without being forced. That sounds so esoteric but really sometimes taking time off gives room for unexpected opportunities to arise.

When you can travel again, where will you go and what will you do?

Italy. I love the food, wine, my friends there and the fashion.

What are your wardrobe staples?
A black tank top with spaghetti straps. This can go with jeans, a white blazer and flats, with a little leather skirt, with bold jewelry and a floor length skirt. Its endless. If you have to pick 10 things you had to wear forever a black tank top with tiny straps would definitely be in my list.

What or who inspires you the most?
My mother inspires me. She is such an incredible gorgeous human being.

What’s your greatest passion?
God, love, music, my husband, the ocean, fashion. I have so many passions!

The Bible, The Science of Being Great by Wallace Wattles and
